I'm Angie Snowball
I grew up in a small town that I couldn't wait to leave. I always wanted to see the world and spent many years in high school and college studying language so I would be prepared to travel the globe. After graduating from Thomas More University with a BA in English and Theatre, I took my first step on the corporate ladder.
I was fortunate to spend years living and traveling abroad with jobs in corporate America but eventually, I became disenchanted with how often I saw colleagues struggling to communicate, especially international professionals in English.
In 2010, I founded Living in America to provide fun and effective ways for international professionals to polish their English skills and express themselves effectively in global situations.
Over the years, I added an MA English to my ESL certifications with an emphasis in business communication.
My services have evolved to help both domestic and international professionals find the right words to tell their story to the right audience in marketing, networking, or on social media. I now provide full-service Communication Consultations including communication strategy development for LinkedIn, copywriting, editing, and communication skills training.
I am passionate about helping others connect around the world and host an interview series, Business without Borders, to promote international networking. I also belong to several organizations including BNI (Business Network International), Elevate, ABWA (American Business Women Association) and others to stay connected and support the community.
Currently serving as President of the local BNI Chapter The New Frontier, I strive to bring small companies together and provide resources for their success. I am also an active advocate for Speak Up for The Poor, supporting education efforts of young women in Bangladesh.
